Question

After LAMP one click install, how to configure?

After doing the one click LAMP install and ssh to the root directory, how do I configure the LAMP droplet to run the index.html in the default /var/www.html file when i visit the IP address of the droplet? Right now going to the IP address goes to the default “Please log into your Droplet with SSH to configure the LAMP installation.” page.

Thanks for your help.

Hello there,

The message you see is actually the index.html in the /var/www directory You can log in via ssh and modify it or simply add your domain name to the server and access the site/application using a domain name instead of the droplet/server IP.

You can check the LAMP stack page for more info and the LAMP tutorial we have as well. You can skip the LAMP install steps and go to the step of creating a virtual hosts:

Okay! I would suggest following this guide. Find where you configure everything.
