after upgrading to php7 i am getting an error

after upgrading to php7 i am getting an error.
and when i tried to restart Apache server its showing this error

apache2: Syntax error on line 140 of /etc/apache2/apache2.conf: Could not open configuration file /etc/apache2/mods-enabled/php5.load: No such file or directory
Action 'configtest' failed.
The Apache error log may have more information.

Could please help me to solve this or downgrade to previous version

  • You can solve this by disabling php5 in apache.

    $ cd /etc/apache2/mods-enabled
    $ a2dismod php5
    $ service apache2 restart

You can solve this by disabling php5 in apache.

$ cd /etc/apache2/mods-enabled
$ a2dismod php5
$ service apache2 restart
