I did apt-get update
but when trying to install htop… wow… it looks like it is getting it from the planet mars… sooooo slowwww

We’re sorry to hear this. We haven’t seen any widespread reports of this issue and when accessing the mirror from the same data center the transfer is handled totally within the local network. I’d recommend opening a ticket with our support team including the output from your apt-get update so they can investigate and try and replicate the issue.
