Trying to install Apache on a Debian droplet, but I keep getting messages that apache2 wasn’t found. What should I do?

Be sure to first update your apt database, without an updated database a new droplet will at first boot not know about any packages.
sudo apt-get update;
then do the Apache installation
sudo apt-get install apache2
