Since August 11, 2021, i have been unable to connect to my DB, since DO made trusted src an option for APP platform

I assume that you have enabled trusted sources and added the App ID under the trusted sources list. If not then please make sure the App ID is added and allowed to connect to the database.

Once you configure to allow the app in the managed database then you should be able to connect to the database in the deploy phase and runtime however database connection in the build phase will be restricted. We do not recommend the database connection during a build so you can use pre-deploy jobs to connect to the database and perform any tasks/migration.

    I just did a rebuild without the DB attached. I then attached the DB and add the app as a trusted source, but still no success. I even removed all trusted sources, making the DB open to all connections, but i get a timeout issue. TCPConnectWrap.afterConnect [as oncomplete] (net.js:1144:16)

    I submitted a ticket about 2 hrs ago, but still no response

  • I detached the DB, rebuild and deployed the app, and it worked without the DB attached lol. I the re attached the DB and then the issue recurred.

    So i just created a new Managed DB, attached it to the apps, and im good now.
