This is a feature request. Could you make it possible to define “variables” and then make them accessible through ${var.MY_NAME}?
How it can be useful: for example, defining a 3rd party service API key and then setting an environment variable in multiple services / jobs / workers.
The way it works now is I have to manually copy/paste the value in multiple places throughout the app spec file. This is error prone - it is easy to update in one place but miss the other(s).
This textbox defaults to using Markdown to format your answer.
You can type !ref in this text area to quickly search our full set of tutorials, documentation & marketplace offerings and insert the link!
When creating an app, click Advanced during the usual app creation process to access environment variable functionality. Click the checkbox labeled Secret to obscure the variable’s values from all build, deployment, and application logs.
