Apps linked to bitbucket repo for static site

I would like to deploy a static site from my bitbucket repo. Is there a way to edit the App Spec config and point it to my bitbucket repo rather than the example site? I tried just updating the repo src but id says the credentials are not found, which makes sense. I dont want to store my creds in the env either. Any help would be appreciated.

Indeed, direct integration with Bitbucket is currently not supported.
It looks like someone has had the same idea before and has posted it on our Product Ideas board. The best thing to do would be to head over and add your vote to it, as well as adding any additional information in the comments for exactly what you’d like to see implemented!
In the meantime, what I could suggest is using GitHub or GitLab instead as they are both fully supported.
