Awastats icon and spider problem

November 7, 2014 1.7k views

Now when i access my Awstats pages i get no icons or graphics everything seemsto point right what i can see. But still it dont work. Hope that someone can help me fix this.

The second problem is that it dont show stats for Robots/Spiders visitors

this is the log format information i have pick in the awstats conf file: %host %other %logname %time1 %methodurl %code %bytesd %refererquot %uaquot $aquot %User-agent

And this setting comes from apache’s access logs setting:

LogFormat "%v:%p %h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %O \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" vhost_combined
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %O \"%{Referer}i\" \"%{User-Agent}i\"" combined
LogFormat "%h %l %u %t \"%r\" %>s %O" common
LogFormat "%{Referer}i -> %U" referer
LogFormat "%{User-agent}i" agent

What can be wrong here?

If you are not correctly seeing Awstat’s icons and other assets, double check your Apache configuration. The VirtualHost for your domain should contain a section that looks like this:

    Alias /awstatsclasses "/usr/share/awstats/lib/"
    Alias /awstats-icon "/usr/share/awstats/icon/"
    Alias /awstatscss "/usr/share/doc/awstats/examples/css"
    ScriptAlias /awstats/ /usr/lib/cgi-bin/
    Options +ExecCGI -MultiViews +SymLinksIfOwnerMatch

The Alias directives are important as they tell Apache where to find the correct assets.
