Best way to setup a wordpress site?

Greetings all,

I am new here, and am wondering which would be the best way to deploy wordpress. I see two obvious options, either select the pre-configured wordpress image during droplet creation, or select the pre-configured LEMP stack image and then install wordpress via command line through the console. Now the main difference is the presence of nginx instead of apache in the LEMP stack, which is good for performance, but then again I always have the option to use a wordpress cache plugin to serve static html pages if I go with apache. What would be best in terms of resource efficiency and end-user experience?

While it is true that Nginx is less resource hungry than Apache, on a WordPress installation MySql is going to be the big memory hog. I personally have grown to really like using Nginx, and would suggest that you consider it. But if you are looking for end user simplicity, you can’t beat the ease of using the pre-configured WordPress application image.
