It appears so – creating 512 MB droplets in Ams is down again and the system won’t allow you to spin a 1024 MB droplet from 512 MB snapshot.
@AP

That’s weird. I’ve been able to successfully spin new droplets from snapshot images (both in the NY and SF data centers). I wonder if there’s an issue specific to Amsterdam?
“You’ll be able to create a new Droplet from the snapshot image anytime to bring it back online.”

In theory, but not in practice. I took down my Droplet in Ams at July 4th and have since been unable to bring it back online. Transferring it to NY or SF is not the same thing (at all).

And this is second time this happens. Not funny at all.
