Can I buy a VPS without a primary domain?

Can I buy a VPS without a primary domain? Since I currently have one and I would like to transfer it to digital ocean.

Hi there,

Yes, you can create servers without associating a domain name with them. You could use the server IP address to access them directly rather than using a specific domain name.

Then whenever you are ready you can change your DNS records to point to the server IP address at any time.
