Can I completely disable outgoing / all traffic of an droplet?

as you may already know by the Title, this post is about disabling all or just outgoing traffic of an droplet.

Is this possible?

It's possible to do that with a Cloud Firewall. Check out that tutorial for more info.

Once you've created the Firewall, delete all outbound rules like this:


Apply the Firewall to your Droplet and all outgoing traffic will be disabled.
