as you may already know by the Title, this post is about disabling all or just outgoing traffic of an droplet.

It’s possible to do that with a Cloud Firewall. Check out that tutorial for more info.
Once you’ve created the Firewall, delete all outbound rules like this:
Apply the Firewall to your Droplet and all outgoing traffic will be disabled.
