Hi huys. this may sound stupid as I’m new to cloud hosting.
Right now Im searching some hosting where I can host my 5+ small projects. All of them are super simple (only one is using on average 30mb ram) others are simple php mysql websites.
So basically my questions are:
- What is the max number of webistes I can host on 1 account?
- Max number of mysql (or any other) databases?
- Do digitalocean allow root/naked/pure domains (for example http://site.com) without the ugly www subdomain?

Hi Auc, the short aswers are:
- Unlimited (Limited by Disk space/ and ram)
- Limited only by disk space.
- Yes.
What may not be clear is that this is not just “cloud hosting” - this is virtual private server hosting. We’re all sharing a bunch of hardware, yes, but you are in charge of running your own virtualized server that isn’t shared with anybody. You set it up, you maintain it, you install and run anything you want (within the limits of the terms of service). You get your own IP address. You can do pretty much anything with it that you could do with your own server.
