Can I have multiple email domains pointing to single droplet?

Posted on August 14, 2014

Hi All,

Currently I have 2 domains pointing to my droplet. Both the domains have Gmail MX records. But of late, I found that only one of the email is working (able to receive).

So can I have user@domain1.com and user2@domain2.com working in same droplet?

Thanks for the reply. I am not hosting the mail server.

Actually, DNS MX is independent of droplets if you’re pointing at GMail. Simply add your multiple domains, then use the magic one click GMail mx records. As long as the domain is set up correctly in your Google Apps, it should work.

(This is a different story if your droplet is hosting a mail server).
