Can I order 3 server for server cluster?

October 25, 2014 1k views

I am looking for some server, which is faster and have big harddisk.
I need 120GB for storage. but I notice your 160GB server need 160$, it is too expansive. So do you allow one client order 3 server?

I wanna to order 3 $20 server or 1 40$ + 2 $20 server, so that I have 120-140GB.
Do you support 3 server for a small server cluster? One for only mysql, other 2 install only apache. (But the one which install mysql should also strage data from other 2 server)
I am finding some article here: https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-a-serf-cluster-on-several-ubuntu-vps, but I need 3 server which run in CentOS6? If could, after buying can you help me to setup it?

Thanks.

Of course, you're welcome to run multiple servers and cluster them. That's a pretty frequent use case. Though DigitalOcean offers unmanaged hosting. That means you get full root access to your server and the ability to install whatever you need, but that also means that you have the responsibility to manage your servers your self.

When your site begins to get more visitors, you may have to think about how to handle the additional traffic. One easy way of doing this is to separate your database operations from your web server so that each can handle its own load. In this guide, we'll demonstrate how to do this for a WordPress site built on Nginx by configuring a remote MySQL database.
