I want to resize my droplet but I have only one virtual machine. Can I resize the droplet, with the api, from the droplet itself and have in automatically restart at its new size?

Hello,
As the Droplet must be powered off, you will not be able to resize the disk from the droplet itself.
But what you could do is run the resize commands from your local PC instead.
