I am pointing my GoDaddy domain to my DigitalOcean VPS. In DigitalOcean, I created a domain in the DNS section.
However, I tried to add a record A with IP Address like x.x.x.x:8080 but the error will say the “The IP address did not match the ipv4 format”.
Is there a way I can specify my IP address in any of the records to point to an IP address with port?

No, you can’t, that’s not how DNS works, neither the web. You need to use standard ports (80 or 443 for SSL).
Maybe if you specify more about your system we can help you with a solution.
