Can i use a subdomain as a DNS?
I’m making a minecraft server and just started using digital ocean. And i want to use a subdomain for my friends to connect. Anyway for that?

If you have a domain name you can simply point the subdomain you wish to use at your droplet’s IP address. We do not provide domain or subdomain registration services but there are several free subdomain providers you could use where you can point your free domain/subdomain to your droplet.

thanks ryan. yeah i already got a sub domain ready. So i just need to add it to the DNS just like a normal domain?

If you have a subdomain you should just need to point that subdomain directly to your droplet’s IP address. There should not be a need to add it to the DNS section of the DigitalOcean control panel.
