This is the 2nd domain that I’ve purchased from Gandi & hosted through Digital Ocean where I’ve received the following message:
- Error establishing a database connection
I then turned off & turned back on the droplet. I also resized the droplet from 1 GB to 2 GB.
- On the second day, I now get this message “www.hyperelectric.ninja’s server DNS address could not be found.”
My doman is pointed towards: ns1.digitalocean.com ns2.digitalocean.com ns3.digitalocean.com
It’s a wordpress site. 2 GB Memory / 40 GB Disk / NYC2 - Ubuntu WordPress on 14.04
I don’t understand what the issue is. Please help!

It isn’t enough to just point the domain towards DO. You also need to do some configuration here. Follow this guide and report back - How To Set Up a Host Name with DigitalOcean. Also have in mind that www and non-www domains are different.
