Can't access Wordpress installation.

Posted on December 19, 2014

Just started my account today, so apologies for the newbness. I made one-click wordpress install and was too lazy to set up an ssh key just yet, but I received my root login via email, and yet I can’t seem to authenticate. I’m just stuck in an infinite login loop when accessing the site.

Thanks

The login details provided by email when you create a new droplet are for your SSH connection. You will need to log in with an SSH client like PuTTY where you will be prompted to change your temporary password and will be given the credentials to access your wordpress installation. This is done to prevent the hijacking of a new Wordpress droplet whose installation and initial configuration has not yet been completed.
