Can´t add domain to docker container using Nginx proxy manager

Posted on July 3, 2020

Hi to everyone,

I´m trying to add a domain to some of my docker containers using Nginx Proxy Manager, but i´m getting this error:

Failed authorization procedure. wordpress.word-omv.tk (http-01): urn:ietf:params:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client to verify the domain :: Fetching http://wordpress.word-omv.tk/.well-known/acme-challenge/5jAOAFNFa3sB2PTTiBqLihWhu_vG60GvlgleVHLIWG0: Timeout after connect (your server may be slow or overloaded),
,

I have tried with a domain from Freenom and also Duckdns, but it´s the same.

I detailed everything i did here in this google doc (steps, pictures, …) https://docs.google.com/document/d/1QMLRizrO-WvVGIM1Szq3FgnNJ3b6bWMAQ4n7ss7VMXY/edit?usp=sharing

Can someone help please? Thanks.

Hello,

This error would usually occur if your domain name is not pointing to the server IP address, this is how Let’s Encrypt validates your domain name.

For more information on how to configure your DNS, you can take a look at the documentation here:
