Hello: I cannot connect to my teamspeak server. I have tried multiple distros of linux and nothing is working. If anyone is currently hosting a server on their droplet could you please link me to a tutorial you followed or help me diagnose the problem?

Hello,
I went through this guide and was able to get it working on both Ubuntu 15.04 and Debian 8. Since things can fail for a variety of reasons, I couldn’t think of a single article to provide when troubleshooting.
You may wish to check if it’s just you that cannot connect, as if it’s with multiple distributions; it’s starting to sound like a possible local issue with your network. Perhaps they are blocking something required to connect.
If it’s still not working, what errors are you getting? Providing detailed information when you are having issues is very important so others can take steps to replicate and hopefully provide a solution.
