Question

Can't create app through Github - 'Something went wrong'

I’ve just started using DigitalOcean, trying to create an app though github on the Create Resource From Source Code page. Connected fine to my github account, selected the correct repository and branch and click next, but I get the message that something went wrong with no explanation. How do I fix this? If I go out of the page and try again, now I don’t get that message but just get a spinning wheel next to the ‘next’ button which goes away after a few seconds but nothing happens.

Hi there,

Is your app open-source? If so can you share a link to your repository so I could try to deploy it myself?

On another note, if the repo is private, what kind of app is it? You can check the currently available Buildpacks here:

https://docs.digitalocean.com/products/app-platform/reference/buildpacks/

Best,

Bobby
