I'm new to php and have racked my brain trying to get this to work. I've installed sendmail and the command telnet localhost 25 gives back:
Trying 127.0.0.1...
Connected to localhost.
Escape character is '^]'.
220 audodevs ESMTP Sendmail 8.14.4/8.14.4/Debian-2ubuntu2.1; Mon, 9 Jun 2014 05:38:16 -0400; (No UCE/UBE) logging access from: localhost(OK)-localhost [127.0.0.1]
so it seesm to work but when i try to send the email, my gmail doesn't get it. here is my php code: http://pastebin.com/7QU3TQ04

Due to the popularity of Gmail, Google Apps, Outlook.com, Yahoo! Mail & a myriad of other providers, many cloud-server users mistakenly fail to install a mail server, initially. This tutorial will review how to install a send-only mail server on Ubuntu 12.04.
