I have a Digital Ocean Ubuntu 12.0.4 VPS that I am trying to migrate a Wordpress installation off of using ManageWP or BackupBuddy. All settings are pretty much default on the apache side of things.
ManageWP says it can’t get a backup. Working through the settings to check.
I have memory limits set to 512MB currently. “safe_mode” is off in php.ini.
I am thinking the issue is around access to “mysqldump” and the php exec function. I am pretty sure these are enabled for the root user, but what user level is Wordpress functioning with?
BackupBuddy installs but when I initiate a backup it just gives a blank screen on the Dashboard.
I have been looking through the apache error logs and don’t see anything in regards to this. Are there any other error logs I should check?
Sorry for the noob questions. I just really need to get this site off the VPS.
