What is the reason for this report?

Can't Log in to new user ubuntu 16,4

Hi all

I am about to scream lol!

I can’t seem to log in to my new user.

I have created a new user, given the sudu control - now what?

I log out and when i try to log back in through purtty i cant.

what am i doing wrong?

how do i log in - is it through putty? if so then what is the process - is it add ip address in hostname

You can login the same way you login with your old user, just put the new user’s name and password.

you can login again with root and after change to new user what you created by this command #sudo -i username or #sudo -iu username
