I moved to DO from shared hosting. lemp Nginx Ubuntu 14/04
I uploaded all the wordpress files using winspc to /usr/share/nginx/html
i created a database and imported the older DB to it using terminal:
mysql -u root -p wordpress < /usr/share/nginx/html/olddatabase.sql
I changed The wp-config file.
now I’m getting almost an empty wordpress website. i can find all the plugins and themes but there are no posts, pages or pictures.
What can be the problem?

Hello,

This error seems to suggest there was an error with the database export or import. Did you receive any errors? I would suggest trying again. You can also find a nice helpful guide for migrating your WordPress over here

I would suggest reviewing and following along with that as it should get your WordPress migrated.
