Hi there @tyler945,

In the screenshot you’ve provided, you have run curl -sS https://getcomposer.org/installer > sudo php -- --install-dir=/usr/local/bin --filename=composer.

What you need to run, as you’ve stated in your question, is curl -sS https://getcomposer.org/installer | sudo php -- --install-dir=/usr/local/bin --filename=composer.

Notice that the > has become |.

Running that should then correctly install composer for you. For more information about getting composer installed, you can read the documentation on their site: https://getcomposer.org/download/

Give that a try and let me know how it goes! - Matt.
