Can't SSH to droplet through ipv4, but ipv6 is accessable

I can’t ssh to my droplet through ipv4 connection, it hangs until operation timed out.

Every time it happens, I can see sockets with SYN_RECV state on the remote machine that I wanted to access.

However, I can ssh to it though ipv6 connection.

And ping works well both through ipv4 and ipv6.

You need to make sure that your local IPv4 is whitelisted via your droplet’s firewall in order to be able to SSH. For example if you are using ufw you could do that with:

ufw allow proto tcp to your_ipv4_here port 22
