Can't upload theme file

OpenLiteSpeed WordPress 1-Click

Hi. I installed a clean new droplet. I’m trying to upload the Impreza theme from Wordpress Admin Console but when I click “Upload theme” I see ony “Uploading(17%)” in browser status bar.

How I can solve that problem? Thanks. :)

    Same issue to me

    This is fresh installation OLS WordPress 1-Click setup, I try to upload theme from admin it stuck at 55%, after I uploaded theme through sFTP. Next I tried to upload featured image to my post, here not working.

Do you receive any error messages or the installation process is just stuck at 17% and wont go any further?

Keep in mind that you can always install the theme manually via sFTP. In order to do that So, simply extract the Impreza theme .zip file (it should only have one folder, named “Impreza” or something like this) and upload it to your public_html/wp-content/themes/ directory. After that, you can go back to your admin panel and under Appearance > Themes page, activate the Impreza theme.

    No problem, no error messages. I think solution is based in the Litespeed Configuration.

    Manually install via FTP when you using Openlitespeed 1-Click is so difficult: user www-data can’t have login shell, which need for sftp. :(

      Hi @skazhikadyadya ,

      The PHP execution time should be long enough, do you mind to submit a ticket to support@litespeedtech.com, so we can help you more from there?

      I am not sure if this is normal that www-data user has SFTP permission by default. For now, you could use root to transfer file for sure, then update the file permission by command chown www-data:www-data XX if you want.
