Yes, you could set up an automation script to backup your data from one Block Storage to another.
Alternatively, what I could suggest are a few other approaches:
- You could backup your Block Storage by taking a snapshot of the volume as per the instructions here:

This will generate an entire snapshot which you could later on use to restore your Block Storage from.
