Cannot connect to internet

I just started up a new Ubuntu 14.04 with docker droplet. I have not done anything but reset my root password. When I try to run apt-get update or ping, nothing happens. I have tried sshing with keys I have set up and that does not work either. I have tried power cycling. I even tried SSH through the IPv6 address with no result. Any ideas?

Please submit a help desk ticket. Sounds like there was a issue with the droplet creation process.

As @romanparish said, send a ticket to Digital Ocean.

I just got a response: “Thank you for contacting us regarding this issue. It appears that the droplet had a network state with the hypervisor that wasn’t able to route properly. I have reset this, and the droplets are now reachable.”
