Cannot get official Directus container to deploy to App Platform

Hi, I am trying to deploy the Directus Container to app platform and cannot make it past the first deploy and there is basically no logs to go from.

Here is the container:

It does not make it past:

Initializing bootstrap...

I try and use the same .env config as a working version. I even shut down the working version to see if it freed up database connections or something silly.

I’ve tried every variation on the config that I can and no dice.

Has anyone had any luck deploying directus to the app platform?

Hi there,

It sounds like the health check is failing. This happens when the specified HTTP port is not correct.

When deploying the Directus container, you need to make sure that you specify the following:

  • Port: 8055 - This is the default Directus port
  • Env variables:
    • KEY: Your key
    • SECRET: Your secret

After that, this should work as expected, I’ve just verified this:

Let me know how it goes!
