Could you not even upload files through Filezilla to the user’s home folder? Were you able to connect as the user at all? If you are using SSH keys, make sure that they have been added to the ~/.ssh/authorized_keys file for the user you created as well as root.
Regarding the social login issue, we’ll need more to go on here. Are you seeing any error messages in your log files? What is the actual plugin that you are using? The first thing I would check is the differences between your local environment and the server. Are there any missing dependencies?
Its working now. Actully the oauth module of php5 was not installed on my server. I installed it and now things are working fine. Thanks.
I have another issue now. Please help. I have used a facebook api to invite friends on my website. The api sends requests or invites into friends notification box. When a friend clicks that notification it is taken to tha app canvas which has the url of one of the pages of my website…but it shows the error ‘The server refused the connection.’. The canvas is unable to connect to page. That page just contains the redirect link to my website. Please help.
