Hi all, just curious about how I might want to go about this. I’m working on an application which requires a user video upload. Currently our Spaces are in NYC and our team did an experiment to narrow down what might be causing it. With a 12mb file it takes about 9 seconds to upload from the east coast. One of our team members in London tried to upload the same file and it took 6 minutes.
What can be done about this or is there something I’ve overlooked in setting this up?
We are using the presigned urls - making a request to our server to sign the url, then upload directly to the DO space

Hey there!
It sounds like there could be a lot of variables here. You may want to at running a MTR from the London location and see if there are any network issues that could be slowing this down. If this uploads directly from the user to the server then it may show if there is latency. The upload may also be dependent upon the end users internet upload speed.

Hope it helps! Nate
