I want to change my Default ip address to be 0.0.0.0. How do I go about that?
I’m sorry but what exactly are you talking about?
The issue is caused because my application is listening on 127.0.0.1:8080. After some research I found that my app should listen on 0.0.0.0:8080 instead.
Okay, what application?
Server Thin web server (v1.6.3 codename Protein Powder)
Maximum connections set to 1024
Listening on 127.0.0.1:8080, CTRL+C to stop

Are you sure it’s 0.0.0.0:8080 and not your droplet ipaddress:8080? If it’s ipaddress:8080 you need to change your droplet’s hostname.
Have followed the tutorial but now when I enter site via url I get ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED. The log in /var/log/nginx are empty.
Followed the tutorial found here https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-set-up-nginx-server-blocks-virtual-hosts-on-ubuntu-16-04
What I also did was that I removed the default file from sites-available and from sites-enabled.
sudo ufw status gives me inactive.
Could it be a linux permission issue?
Folder structure looks like this /var/www/mysite.com/html
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 May 2 20:05 www
drwxr-xr-x 3 root root 4096 May 2 17:18 mysite.com
drwxr-xr-x 11 blizzard blizzard 4096 Apr 5 2016 html
Used before nginx with older version of Ubuntu but this I dont know how to fix.....
# My server port 587, 465, 25 were blocked by DO. I cannot send outgoing emails. Need to get the block lifted. After I provide related info to support, they seem to ignore me. 9 days without a response. Very frustrating... :(
# Ticket No. #578581
# Also, I send this to forum to let folks know that, if your email service is not working, and you cannot debug, it is probably because DO blocked the port.
I am a newbie to linux. I have a website built on windows php. What needs to be changed in my files to make it compatible with apache?
I installed the one-click-app, GitLab CE, and for some reason it periodically deletes my admin area settings for the app. Three times now I've been using the app and playing around, and then I notice that sign-ups are turned on again. So I go to the settings area in the admin panel, and the entire page of settings is set to factory defaults!
I haven't set up repos yet, but as far as I know no other data is being lost. All my personal settings and user accounts are still there, it is just the application's settings that are reset.
I'm new to GitLab, so I'm not sure where to start troubleshooting.
