Please open up a support ticket explaining the reason you want to change your droplet's IP address.

By default all accounts are limited to 5 droplets, however to get that limit raised you have to open up a support ticket.

You are charged even if you droplet is powered off. Your diskspace, CPU, RAM, and IP address are all reserved while your Droplet is powered off. If you want to save a Droplet for future use take a snapshot of it and then destroy it. You'll be able to create a new Droplet from the snapshot image anytime to bring it back online.

@swagtunnel: No, each 512MB droplet costs $5/mo ($0.007/hr rather) so if you were to run 5 512MB droplets it would cost you $25/mo.

I think the correct answer would be (if not mistaken in number crunching) $5 will run 5x 512MB droplets for about 6 hours?
Which for me raise another question, does everything stops after 6 hours as I run out of 'credits'.
