Hello - brand new to this type of environment. Will be setting up a droplet for Wordpress Multi installation. I believe what I need is:
Ubunto 14.04 64 bit(?) Wordpress Multi and probably the $10/month plan for the extra RAM
along with the appropriate code to copy and paste via the “Terminal” application on my Mac.
What I’m looking for is a recommendation for the easiest step-by-step tutorial to do this. I have found 2-3 on YouTube but hoping someone has found and/or used an “installation for total Newbie” type of guide.
Thank you in advance.
Steve

Hello, Here in DigitalOcean everything is really simple. There are images with pre-installed software like LAMP stack and many more. There is even a Wordpress image for those who are new or don’t have time to waste to setup a naked droplet. You can see more about the Wordpress image here All of these are really good and we thank DO stuff but I would recommend you the easyengine project. A project developed to make your life easier with Wordpress. Here is the project on github.com https://github.com/rtCamp/easyengine/ . First take a look at the commands for multisite before you install it if you are going with the easyengine. Have fun!

Really good tips, and the most well-rounded tutorial for using Multi-sites that is available.
