Hi @jvsale70,

I take it you are talking about this tutorial here:

And rather than step 6, you mean the end of step 5, correct?

What you need to do in our Droplet when SSHed is to execute this:

curl -s

It will provide you with the values which you can copy to your wp-config.php file. Please note that you’ll need to copy them, it won’t happen automatically.

  • thank you for your reply, yes that is the tutorial I was following while trying to setup a home wordpress server, the thing was that I connected via PuTTY to this server and was trying to use the Windows CTRL+V to paste the contents between windows and nano editor within putty, it never worked. While asking, they asked for a credit or debit card as a new user before posting the question so I went to another Ubuntu help forum and somebody there told me that I needed to use the SHIFT+INSERT instead of CTRL+V or CTRL+U and that solved the issue and I could continue with the config of my home server, Thank you anyway.

    • Hi @jvsale70,

Yes, that is correct, in order to copy or paste in a Putty terminal, you need to use the ones mentioned.

Another possible key combination is CTRL + SHIFT + C/V to copy or paster.
