Configure enom email with DNS records

Email DNS

Hi,

I've recently created some enom emails.

I'm having problems receiving emails sent from outside enom webmail. If I send an email through the webmail platform, everything works ok. When I send an email from GMAIL to one of my enom mail, I don't receive any email.

I think this should be a problem with DNS records configuration in my digitalocean account.

Anyone knows how to configure email DNS records so my email is correctly configured?

Thanks a lot,

Eduard

You can check your domains DNS/MX records using MXToolBox to make sure your DNS resolves as expected.

Whether you're using the Basic e-mail or G Suite, if you're pointing your domain to DigitalOcean, you will need to make sure those MX records are showing up for your domain within the control panel.

It all depends on how you've setup your domain. If you can provide the domain, we can check to see if there's anything out of place.

@eduardbosch I set up email for my DO domain using this reference -> Configuring Your MX Records: Other domain hosts.
DO provide a handy 'Add Gmail MX Records' button in the droplet admin console that populates all the MX records with correct priority. I just changed the TTL to 3600 for each MX record.

@jtittle I'm trying to configure enom (https://www.enom.com/) emails. I don't know which records I need to add.

@striker78 I think your suggestion only helps for G Siute accounts, right?

Thanks a lot

The guides I'm seeing for enom all seem to be geared towards Office 365 and G Suite, so you may need to get in touch with enom support for the MX records that you'd need to use.

I'm not seeing their MX listed, even in their help center.

@jtittle thanks a lot. I've already contacted the enom support a couple of hours ago. I hope they can help me..
