Question

Configuring CDN with a custom certificate

I tried to enable the CDN for a new spaces bucket, but with a custom domain and custom certficate. Enabling generally worked. I was also able to configure the custom (wildcard) certificate and provide the appropriate subdomain to be used. What caught my attention though was, that while entering the certificate details, the button didn’t change to “Save” but still read as “Generate Certificate and Use Subdomain”. I assumed this was just a visualization error and continued. It seemed to be working and the certificate can be found under Settings > Security. But the custom subdomain configuration for the CDN is nowhere to be found.

Anyone else stumlbed accross this problem? Or am I doing something wrong?

Heya,

After you click the Bring your own certificate tab, the window displays several fields for you to upload your certificate.

Enter the name, certificate, private key, and certificate chain in the respective fields, then click Add Certificate and Use Subdomain.

As for the custom subdomain configuration for the CDN you can check this link:

Hope that this helps!
