I set up my website on my droplet a month ago, i have just realised that my contact form is not working. I have two sites with the same setup. its a simple send only setup i need. I have tried WP-SMPT plug ins. I have even tried to send emails from the command line. installing open source apps on the server, I have been through the tutorials for hours but to no avail. it would not be so bad if it was just the one server to fix but i have two. Anyone getting the impression I’m fed up yet? I need a real pro to take a look for me as i need some sleep.

Hi! Can you post the output of the following command? It should check whether or not you are able to access port 25 on remote servers. SMTP is sometimes disabled by default on some accounts, and since you sound like you’ve tried everything, I’m assuming that that’s the issue.
nc -vz smtp.gmail.com 25
If you do not get a ‘connection successful’ message, please open a support ticket so that the team can take care of that for you!
Ok since i posted the message for one server i used the gmail plugin, with the API manager now got one site sorted. Im still not happy that i have had to cheat to get it to work. Now, for the 2nd server no such joy pasted the code got no response. but in all fairness i didn’t work as hard on that one. Thanks for your kind response, I was expecting a knarling remark from the first person to respond.
