Connecting phpMyAdmin through Putty?

Posted on March 23, 2016

Hello, I’m new to cloud hosting and I have managed to enable phpmyadmin but when I run the command “sudo tasksel” to open through putty, it runs fine, asks me to select “LAMP server” which I do, I then get to the point to enter MySQL Password, but then it keeps going back to the defaults black root screen in putty?

Can anyone help so I can get access to phpmyadmin again or is there another way to do this?

Thanks

What Ive done is just deleted the server and started again with a new IP as I had nothing on the server, and at this point just playing with it! I’m finding it a lot harder than managing Linux WHM root of which I’m used to!

But thanks anyway :)
