I bought a digital ocean account yesterday and tried to create my own droplet as I wanted to connect it to Wordpress and wooecommerce. However I do not have a domain so I bought a domain from namecheap.com and I tried connecting it to Wordpress, however it has been 10 hours and I still cannot access my website that is supposed to be linked to Wordpress.
I am a newbie at this, could anyone tell me if this is usually how long it takes?

Hi @universe4224,
I am here to help you,
If you want to connect your domain with the digital ocean, First open the Digital Ocean control panel and then Networking, Here add your domain name and create DNS record.
Copy Digitalocena DNS and replace it with your NameCheap Domain DNS names. Next, create the A record to point Domain, here is the example.
A record “domain.com droplet-IP-20.64.35.245 TTL 300” CNAME record “www domain.com TTL 600”
For more information you can go here: (https://www.digitalocean.com/docs/networking/dns/how-to/add-domains/)
