Nginx

Thanks for the great instructions and guide. Once the NGINX container is up, and the host can access the data, how do I setup other container can access it too?

Hello,

You would need to link the container with the local filesystem. You could do that by following step 6 from this guide here:

https://www.digitalocean.com/community/tutorials/how-to-run-nginx-in-a-docker-container-on-ubuntu-14-04#step-6-%E2%80%94-linking-the-container-to-the-local-filesystem

Hope that this helps!

This tutorial shows how to deploy Nginx in a Docker container. By containerizing Nginx, we cut down on our sysadmin overhead. We will no longer need to manage Nginx through a package manager or build it from source. The Docker container allows us to simply replace the whole container when a new version of Nginx is released. We only need to maintain the Nginx configuration file and our content.
  • Thanks, my apologies for not being specific enough. What I actually meant was with the docker images that I have, how do I setup using the nginx?
