Cpanel cannot access default root / password assigned

my default root and new password ,cannot access GUI cpanel, but user and password use in ssh , is ok,. any idea pls help,

There are two components to the control panel. There’s cPanel and WHM. The root password works on the WHM UI at https://your.ip.add.ress:2087/. That’s where you put your root login and pass. Once you create cPanel accounts you’ll be able to access them through port 2083.
