How do I go about creating a new subdomain for other content with OwnCloud installed on the root (through DO’s OwnCloud app on Ubuntu 14.04)?
Also, how do I make sure that the subdomain doesn’t redirect to SSL?

Hello, You can follow this tutorial and skip the SSL settings. Put SSL on off in the config and edit the domain like you would like to have it. If you got any trouble with this, you can get back here and I’ll be happy to explain you more
