Yes. The SSH protocol is standard across operating systems that support it so interoperability should not be a problem. Personally, I’ve found that while SSHFS is handy if you want to edit files directly on a server (not usually the best idea, but sometimes necessary) but I would recommend against using it to serve any production content as the performance can often be poor.
