Data Migration from one Digital Ocean Database cluster to another

I don’t understand why im getting “We ran into an issue with migration” error and 3 separate errors saying “user cannot manage replication slots”. The postgres versions are the same and the trusted sources are removed for both but im still getting an error

Hey @austinlee,

I believe that the migration tool is for migrating data to a managed instance and would not work for migrating data out of the managed instance as it would lack the superuser permissions.

What you could do instead is to use the pg_dump command and manually export your data and then import it to your new database as described here:
