Hi there,
I’ve gotten in touch with DO support but I wonder if someone here may be able to help as I’d ideally like to get this sorted as soon as possible.
I had a database error pop up yesterday just before 1400 GMT, figuring this was likely a plugin conflict I went to the DO dashboard, poweroff’d the droplet via command line and then powered it on again. Historically this has given me the ability to access sites, turn off any new plugins and troubleshoot.
I had to exit the certbot dialog in the console before doing this which I did according to instructions, I wouldn’t expect this to change much but I thought it worth mentioning.
This site was a little test up until just under a week ago, so I haven’t added back up for this particular one ( I know… ) and do not have SSH keys set up for it and haven’t set up webmin.
When I load up the page, I still see cookies from the site loading which makes me think that it’s still there but that I’ve likely buggered something up along the way. I’ve not encountered this problem before.
If anyone has any ideas that could save me 20 or so hours of work, I’d be grateful to hear it. I usually have a developer on hand to help me with this kind of thing but he’s not about at the moment and so feel free to dumb down any advice, I won’t be offended.
Thanks in advance. Site is/was hosted at http://178.62.77.204/

Hi Bobby,
Excuse the delay, mad week. Thanks for viewing/answering.
In the end I got a guy to fix it for me. It was a vhost issue but I know little more than that. I reckon the dialog I thought I cancelled out of, may have changed the document root or something.
Added back ups the minute it was back online 😂
Sorry I can’t give a more exciting answer!

Hi there @theomwhittington,
It looks like the website is loading as normal when I try to visit the IP address that you’ve shared.
Would you mind sharing there with the community how did you fix the problem?
Regards, Bobby
